Title: late winter wren

Singing winter wren in the yard (midtown Toronto) woke me up this morning.  Noteworthy in that it is here rather late - most of my yard sightings of this species have been in early April, previous late record was May 7.

Have now heard this bird for seven consecutive days - looks more like it might be attempting to breed here than migrate north.
