An Orange Crowned Warbler from the Birch tree in the front yard. I think it's a OCW. I've been known to be wrong (lol)

Bird in the photo appears to be a Tennessee Warbler.
Orange-crowned Warblers are very, very rarely seen in August in our area. I know of none. Look for them at the soonest after Sept. 15th.

Thanks, Norm.
Well, Tennessee was my other thought. As I said, I've been known to be wrong:)

No worries Joe...thanks to Norm and other experts(enthusiasts) that offer their knowledge we all learn. I dont even try fall warblers ....I watch em in spring when I have a fighting chance to ID them :D Fall Im a raptorman that looks at warblers if they land beside him. Or are in the tallons of a Sharpie.
