This "Grapevine" sprouted out of the ground in the spring and started climbing my fence.
About a month ago it started flowering all over which revealed it wasn't any type of grape at all.
Now the fruit has appeared.......nothing like I've ever seen before.
Scale - the fruit is approx. 1.5" in diameter and 2.5" long

I've been told it's Wild Cucumber or sometimes called Balsam Apple (Echinocystis lobata)
