Good day all
Yesterday Ian Cannell and I only birded Wards and Snake Islands before we wimped out because of the heat and besides we slowly birded the areas we did bird.
It was not a fall out day but we did okay.
Sharp-shinned Hawks
Purple Martins
Yellow-bellied and Least Flycatchers
Pewee
Olive-sided Flycatcher
Great Crested Flycatchers
Swainson's Thrushes
Tharasher
Scarlet Tanagers
17 warbler species including
Nashvilles
Magnolias
Black-throated Blues
Blackburnians
Bay-breasted
Blackpolls
Ovenbirds
N. Waterthrushes
Wilson's
Canadas
Plus the usual birds.
