Was at Yonge/Sheppard today at about 5pm and looked up to see about 20 raptors soaring south. Varied types which included Turkey Vultures, and what I'm certain were Buteo's.

Do other birds of prey fly with TV's when migrating?
-
It certainly isn't uncommon to see Red-Tailed Hawks with Turkey Vultures. And both of the smaller accipiters will join in when they are kettling.
-
OK...definition of Kettling?
Is that the spooky circling?

According to WickedPedia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kettle_(birds (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kettle_(birds))
Sorry if I verbed a noun.

We'll forgive you this time GStuart... But to be technical, you verbed a verb so it's all good. :D
Late Edit - oops. I was wrong. Man. So yes, you did verb a noun...but if you forgive me for being wrong, it's all good.
