Everyday I take the bus from McCowan to Yonge on Sheppard Ave. to work, and I'm lucky to see a tonne of raptors each and every day.
In the past couple of days I've seen 2 Kestrels, and 4 other raptors which I couldn't identify. When I get to work at Yonge/Sheppard I'm usually privileged to see one of the Peregrine Falcons that nested in the area earlier this year.
Anyone else see anything interesting when on the transit lines??

I live near the intersection of Yonge and Sheppard, and thought I saw a peregrine flying around a condo last fall. I wasn't aware that there was a nest here. Do you know where they nested?

But I'm not going to tell anyone, sorry. I can advise that at least one of the juveniles is still in the area, I viewed him yesterday evening.

Saw one Buteo just West of Warden on the south side over the apartment buildings soaring, and then saw a red tail chasing pigeons through the buildings directly accross from Fairview Mall. Hopefully I'll see some more this weekend during my time off and with my camera handy!

Attila,
If there was a nest in that area other than the one at the Yellow Pages building, I'm sure the Canadian Peregrine Foundation (http://www.peregrine-foundation.ca/tops/yptop.html) would be interested in knowing about it.

They already know about it Brian.
