Title: deer at Humber River
Post by: dawnofthewolf on October 25, 2008, 12:46:28 PM
I spotted 2 deer at Humber River last night at 8pm.  I was walking east along the small bridge north of Bloor St. adjacent to
Etienne Brule Park when I looked down and spotted 2 deer( a buck with medium-sized antlers and a doe).  I observed them for several minutes while they grazed upon the grasses beside the river before they bounded off.  This is the first time I've seen deer at night.

there was one lone female deer standing under a bush for several hours right between the 401 West bound and the on ramp from Weston road
along side the humber river. I thought it to be strange for it to be so close to the highway but i gues thats where it feels the safest,  Great sighting though also loads of deer activity all over taylor creek park.

Yesterday, I was walking on the east bank of the Humber River north of St. Phillips Rd near sunset, when I caught a quick glimpse of 2 deer bounding off.
