Title: scenic trails in Toronto and Mississauga
Post by: dawnofthewolf on October 25, 2008, 12:57:49 PM
I am interested in knowing about scenic trails in Toronto and Mississauga with nice scenery and views for walking and hiking especially ones with high vantage points for looking.  My favorites are the ridge trail in Rouge Park and certain parts of the Culham Trail along the Credit River.

East Point Park, which is just east of Morningside Ave, just west of Col Danforth Park. You can walk along the top of the bluffs, or on the beach.

Re: Mississauga ...

Erindale Park, Riverwood Park, Streetsville Park, Rattray Marsh.

Nice walking trails and great spots for birding ... Lake Aquitaine, Lake Wabukayne, Osprey Pond/Marsh, Lakefront Promenade Park, Sawmill Valley trail, etc.
