Title: RFI - Visiting Toronto October 31
Post by: dfaulder on October 26, 2008, 07:34:17 PM
I am in  downtown Toronto for a convention next weekend, and will have Friday , October 31, available for birding.  I am looking for a birding pal, or even a professional guide if available, or just some good advice.

I was planning on doing the harbour islands most likely.  I was looking at the Leslie St spit, but I see that it is not open Fridays.

Thanks and cheers,

Doug Faulder

Hello Doug,

I'm sure you'll get some great tips here.  If you're staying downtown and you don't want to travel too far I would suggest the Toronto Islands or High Park and Humber Bay.  If you've got a car, maybe Cranberry Marsh.

Doug:
The Leslie Street Spit is fairly near downtown and is a good spot to visit as well.

Cheers,
