Title: Halls Road - Jun 7/06
Post by: Kin Lau on June 07, 2006, 01:31:14 PM
Nice morning today, looks like the roadwork is done for now on Halls Road.

Off the north platform, we saw at least 4 Sora and 2 Virginia Rails. The Virginia chicks were not seen today.

An America Bittern flew briefly across the marsh, a female Ruddy Duck was seen in the marsh. At least 6 Coots & 2 Moorhens are setting up/sitting on nests.

A couple of Blackpoll Warblers were singing near the north platform but high up.
