Title: Snowy Owl - Leslie Spit
Post by: Mathieu Siol on November 17, 2008, 01:55:01 PM
Hi everybody,
this morning a Snowy Owl wad still present on the Leslie Spit. It could be seen from the entrance using a scope (it is far but the park is closed to the public during the week). The birds remained to the tip of the first southern point for my whole stay there. I am not familiar with these birds but it may be that this individual is exhausted, so care is needed not to disturb this bird.

Also to be seen were 7 Snow Buntings, Purple Finches, Pine Siskins and American Tree Sparrow.

Cheers

Mathieu
