Title: Cedar Waxwings - Mississauga
Post by: Bird Brain on November 17, 2008, 05:54:15 PM
Hi everybody.  Went for a nature walk at Lake Wabukayne here in Mississauga today and was excited to see 10 Cedar Waxwings, including 2 Juv.   (sorry, I don't have a camera)

Years ago, used to see dozens of these birds at Erindale Park.

Cool that you got to see so many!  They are definitely "pretty" birds.  :)

Is there any way of identifying which ones are the males and which are the females?

Yes, I also saw 15+ of them earlier this year, first time ever.  They were absolutely beautiful. Never saw them again.   8)
