Hi everyone. Spent this afternoon at Humber Bay Park - excellent birding plus saw a Mink!
Saw a rather gross mess - area with a lot of bones and clumps of feathers all over the place plus something that looked like upright empty bird legs! Cripes! Anyhow, appeared that it used to be a Canada Goose.
Would have made for an interesting but morbid photo.
Would this have been due to a coyote attack?

Coyote, fox, weasel, raccoon...there's a tonne of preds here in the City that could do that. Could also be that the bird died of natural causes and then was predated on post mortem.
