Title: Black-Throated Blue Warbler in Riverdale backyard
Post by: Don Baxter on December 03, 2008, 11:18:55 AM
For the past week I have been watching an adult male BlackThroated Blue Warbler at the feeder.  Should I assume this bird's instinct to migrate is defunct and that sooner or later it will not survive the winter??

Is this near the BTBW being reported on ONTBirds?

I couldn't find any mention on the Ontbird website.  My Black-Throated Blue Warbler is found in the area south of Danforth Ave, and fairly close to the Don Valley Parkway.

The other one is at 44 Belsize Drive in Toronto (Yonge/Davisville area), about 2km away.

Could it be going to feeders 2km apart?
