Title: Tundra Swans, Port Colborne
Post by: Napper on December 06, 2008, 02:59:24 PM
Hey!! :D

We are visiting the family in Port Colborne today.. I had a moment just before we ate lunch to head up to the waterfront..

The pond at Cement rd is frozen. nothing much going on there.

I headed for the bay and sure enough there were 20 to 30 Tundra Swans sheltering behind the breakwall near the old Marina at  Tennesee Ave and Lakeshore rd.

Napper :)

I'll have another look before we head for home.

added this below

Started snowing at 4:00 pm headed home .. I did notice after looking at my images that there are 2 Lesser Scaup  mixed in with the Tundra's Canada Geese and the Mallards :))
