Covered owl woods on Amherst Island today to try and find the boreals, no such luck but did manage to photograph 4 other owl species. Used a Nikon D50 w/80-400vr.

Nice picture with the short-eared in flight. Four species in one day!

Great find and great shots. I like the snowy pic best. Nice capture!!!!

Nice shots. I too really like the short eared pic. You can really see the nice colours and patterning.
