Imagine my surprise on Sunday morning, when driving along Old Finch Road near Morningside, I see a GBH fly by. I can't quite figure out where it would have been hanging out, or why it is still here. I guess there must still be some ponds with open water somewhere. It was heading south, so maybe it was on its way!

The Rouge River is very close to Old Finch and Morningside. There's usually open water there.

I saw one a week ago at Kingston/Hill Crescent. That day, within an hour I saw 22 RTH, the GBH and 1 Sharpie.

I saw a GBH fly by - right across my backyard. Hill Cres and Sylvan. 3:30pm

I saw a GBH fly right behind Coleen Jones while watching CBC morning news on Monday morning... She was giving the weather forecast near Hamilton harbour with the skyway bridge in the back ground.

There was one on the Don River, halfway between Gerard and Bloor St. on Sunday (during the Christmas Bird Count).
