Title: deer in Brampton
Post by: dawnofthewolf on December 24, 2008, 01:04:52 PM
Yesterday at 1:40 pm, I spotted 3 deer just north of Highway 407 on the left side of Highway 50.
Title: Deer are plentiful along the Humber River.

Go for a long walk or drive along any of our many highways that run along the Humber & you will surely spot deer.  A path I rollerblade which runs along the Humber near Hwy #27 & Humber College Blvd - actually the Arboretum behind the college has a ton on deer around.  I counted 20+ in July. All in 1 field.  Follow that path to Finch & then past Clairview dam & they are all over the place!!

An excellent place to see deer.

I spotted 2 deer before they ran off in the same area today at 1 pm.  About a half hour later, I noticed a large herd while standing on a hill and counted 11 deer just north of Highway 407.  At 4 pm, I spotted another large herd  of at least 9 deer in a large field northeast of Humberwest Pkwy and Highway 7.
Title: Deer are much more common than many people realize.

I saw a coyote from my office window a few moths back too. I see directly onto train tracks in S. Etob., had what looked like a collar on, probably tracking.
