We took the long way around lake Simcoe this afternoon looking for owls on our way to Barrie.
Saw the Orillia Monck rd and sideroad 20 Hawk Owl. I was well up and away from the road.
20 minutes NW of Barrie running south from Hwy 26 is Strongville Road.
Here we found 8 Snowy owls including the almost pure white male.

Also seen in the strongville road area was 1 2nd year Bald Eagle, 4 Raccoons and 1 Porcupine
