I'd like to compile a more comprehensive link list. Please post here your favourite (other than this  ) birding sites. They need not be local.
-
Are you looking for links to other birding sites?
If so, probably the biggest is http://www.birdforum.net
cheers,
jim

http://www.birdingonthe.net/ has a huge list of links, and archives of many birding mailing lists.
http://www.birdsontario.org/atlas/map.jsp is where you can view maps from the Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas data.
http://www.mbr-pwrc.usgs.gov/bbs/bbs.html is where you can view maps and get data from the Breeding Bird Survey (e.g. can see abundance maps for all of North America, the parts with roads, anyways).
http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/maybank/main.htm is where you can go for birding trip reports for Mexico and southwards. Essential reading when planning your winter getaway.
http://www.westol.com/~banding/Past_Pictorial_Highlights.htm has incredibly gorgeous close-up bird photos from a banding station in Pennsylvania, updated monthly, more or less.
http://www.bsc-eoc.org/avibase/avibase.jsp probably has every link possible.

Try "Ray Brown's Talkin' Birds". You can download their weekly podcast or listen online - http://www.talkinbirds.com/ (http://www.talkinbirds.com/) Radio show based in the Boston area. Much of the info is quite relevant to our area - and the intro to the show alone is well worth the listen (try listening to this when your teenager is in the same room!)
