Post by: algonquin fan on January 24, 2009, 07:40:24 PM
bald eagles have been rare in this area (HUNTSVILLE) i have only had one sighting this year , and yes i did not have my camera with me....so i wish to correct that mistake, and this winter i have tasked myself to obtain one,
recommendations greatly appreciated for locations of regular sightings.

I am pretty sure I read on the Muskoka birding board that one was seen not that long ago in Port Sydney just south of the bridge, one north in Kearney and other sightings around muskoka south

here is the link to the Muskoka board: http://www.b2g3.com/boards/board.cgi?us ... aBirdBoard (http://www.b2g3.com/boards/board.cgi?user=MuskokaBirdBoard)
you can look back thru to see what else is found in your neck of the woods

...Lived in Huntsville on Landsdowne st for 9 years, hubby still has family there.

Do you have any directions on how to get there?
