Nice to know the Boreal is still doing well.
-
where were these taken?
-
All the owl pics were on Amherst Island south of kingston via a ferry. Goldeneye was taken from the ferry.

I thought so.....a few of us were going to head there today, but instead we ventured to Ottawa and saw the Hawk Owl and Great Grey Owl. It was a good day!
-
Very nice, I like the the 2nd shot and the golden eye fly-by is great.
-
What... are you the Owl Whisperer or something? I basically walk with my head craned upward every time I pass a pined area and have NEVER seen one. Heard one a few times when it was way too darkk but never had the visual privilege.
Thanks for sharing not just these but all of the shots!
-
Neat to see the colour similarities between the Boreal and Saw Whet, great captures as always.
-
Great pictures, tried to visit Amherst Monday but the ferry was getting a new engine. Hopefully the ferry will be working next visit =)
-
Excellent shots.
Thanks for posting.
