Very nice shots! I really like the second shot of the owl. Looks really neat head-on with its wings so high up. I also really like the first kestrel. The colours look really nice up against the bright blue sky. The mallard taking off also looks very neat. Great work!

Nicely done Clemens!
Might I inquire as to what gear you're using?

Hi Attila
Thanks for your comment, the gear I use is a Canon Rebel XTi with a Sigma 50-500mm zoom lense. Not a bad lense for a all in one type.

Very nice pics, where did you shoot the Snowy Owl and how do you like the Sigma I am looking to purchase one for my Olympus E3.
-
Hi Niloc
Thanks for your kind words, the snowy was taken while I was looking for hawks around the town of Bolton sitting ontop of a hydro pole. I like the lense (BIGMA) very much, not to heavy to carry around and not to bad for hand holding, great for flight shots because you can zoom in and out with ease. Check out the Sigma web sight to see what suits your taste.
