Title: Where to spot deer in Morningside Park
Post by: dawnofthewolf on February 23, 2009, 07:15:55 PM
I am interested in knowing areas in Morningside Park or any other parks in the Highland Creek system where there's a good chance of spotting a deer(Any recent sightings, where to spot deer during daytime, the size of the herd there, etc).  I walked there 2 weeks ago and I noticed lots of deer tracks and scat near the Morningside Ave. entrance and north of Ellesmere on the east bank of Highland Creek.

I've seen them on the big field/picnic area near the Morningside and Ellesmere Rd entrance. It was only 3 ( male and two females ).
