Title: Night sky

Hey!!

Last night the moon was spectacular!! Venus was adjacent and there was an Earth shine on the moon..

I tried to find Comet Lulin but I couldn't see it for the lights.. Will try again tonight

Yes.......it was a spectacular combo on Friday with that lovely crescent..... :) .....great moon again last night.

I too looked for Lulin as well.....no luck either.....the T.O. lights were too bright.

Ok maybe someone here knows the answer to this question.

It's there a term to this event?

When you can see the moon during the daytime.

Or is that also called earthshine ?

I just came in from viewing Venus in broad daylight, not too difficult if you know where to look. Check out:
