Title: Mockingbird, Train tracks
Post by: Napper on March 09, 2009, 06:44:02 PM
Hey..

This Morning at work after that short blast of Winter, I spotted a Northern Mockingbird along the  train tracks Downsview Park(read previous thread regarding this).

It was doing what they do best..

A pair of Red tails soaring together (with sound which is always nice).

A pair of Kestrels appear to be preparing to nest in the metal siding of our main office building.. Noisy and active.

Redwing black bird too..

Napper.. :D

A few more Robins around and I think I am hearing a Song Sparrow near my back yard..
Title: Same again?

Isn't that the same site as last year? I guess the pair of Kestrels don't want to bother with a change of address.

hey!! Ron

The Kestrels are in the same general area. Different building..

Interesting today at 3:20pm  Freezing my you now what off   waiting for my carpool dude.. I spotted 3 Kestrels. One was Noisy, Climbing then diving..

Then two more, quieter but following... I dunno?

P.s.  The Redwinged blackbird by the tracks sounded a little perturbed, I think the weather/temperature might have had something to do with it..  poor guy..

-10 this morning and blizzard like for a while..
