This pretty little girl ( I assume) flew into our canopy thingy on our back deck yesterday. I figured I only had a few seconds to grab a quick picture and as such brain cramped and forgot I had my TC on so the quality isnt great.
Anyways.
In terms of size Id say a hair smaller than a RWBB and a little sleeker to. When I first glanced at her I thought it was a female A Goldfinch but shes was easily twice the size, hence the rush to grab my camera and get a quick ID photo.
Am I looking at a female Orchard Oriole?

This looks like a young Baltimore Oriole.
It's an oriole for sure. If the colour is accurate, it's too orange for an Orchard. The pale feathers on the breast & belly suggest a newly fledged bird. The fact that it got itself caught inside a screen house also suggests an inexperienced bird!

I would say that's a female Baltimore (Northern) Oriole as the picture shows no sign of black on the head.
