I found a couple of grebes that I can't figure out. I know there are Horned and Red-necked Grebes in the area, but after looking through my guide I can't figure these out. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!

These are both Horned Grebes. Their plumage is highly variable at this time of year, but the stout bill and more flat (not peaked) head profile separate them from Eared Grebes.
The second bird looks closer to the profile of an Eared Grebe, but I think it's just the camera angle.
