Title: Where to get binoculars?

I'm looking to get a new pair of binoculars, and I'm wondering where I should get them.  I've seen a lot on this site about Pelee Wings, but I'm wondering if there are any places closer that I can try out and compare them.  Is there anything that compares to Pelee Wings in the Toronto area, or is it worth the drive out to Point Pelee?

Honestly?  It's worth the drive to Pelee.

Thanks GStuart.  I think I will go out there later in the spring to pick up a pair and do some birding at Pelee.  A good way to kill 2 birds with one stone, if I may use that  expression on a birding site :)
