Just past the Marina, but on the south side of the Spit, I stumbled upon a male Snowy sitting 15 yards from the dirt path that runs parallel to the main road. A nice surprise on a Spring weekend. Also found a Field Sparrow in a pocket of birds that contained Song Sparrows and Common Redpolls in a thicket on the North side, past the red bridge. Did not see one Grebe but the Canvasback are still there. I posted a photo of the Snowy in the photos section.
