Hi Murray,

Great Shots.  Your House Finches are actually Purple Finches!  Whereabouts were these taken?

Thanks Iain, The pics were taken by the bird feeders at Ojibway park in Windsor.

                    Thanks for letting me know it was a Purple Finch. I am still learning.

Nice shots and some nice birds!  I've only seen a red bellied woodpecker and tufted titmouse once, and the other 2 speceis a handful of times.  Very nice.
