Today I noticed that the Great Blue Herons are are back at their nests on Brock rd. north of 7th Concession. It's nice to see them back and they're the first one's I've seen yet this year.

Mark is this accessible for photography if so how does one get there is this an actual park?
-
It is not an actual park, it is off the road on someone's land. As for whether is is accessible for photography, the nests are maybe about 300 metres off the road (just a rough guess, I'm not too good at guessing distance). I know some people have super zoom lenses for there cameras, but as I'm not a photographer myself, I don't know how far they can shoot. To get to the nests, you go north on Brock Rd. and go through Brougham. Continue north past the next road (concession 7) and the nests are a little past there on your left.
I hope this helps,

Thanks I may make the visit - cheers!

I just drove by there yesterday. I was looking on the east side but I guess it is on the west side. Perhaps I will see it next time.

Weather pending I should be heading up here tomorrow.

1 question before I go, is this is Flamborough?
-
Cody,
It appears this is Brock Rd north of Pickering.

Thanks for the info! I guess I won't be going there then.
