I took a couple of pictures today & am not 100% on the ID.
Here's a Heron. I have seen lots of Great Blue's before but this bird never
extended his neck so i was not quite sure.

The Sparrow stood out quite a bit from all the other Sparrows around.
I am guessing a Song Sparrow. Here's a couple of shots.

Those sparrows are tough, but the Heron confused me just because it kept it's head tucked in & did not look that big.
