Title: Possible flycatcher

This bird had very similar colors to a grey morphed dark eyed junco, mind you it's a dark gloomy day.

It's size was just a shade bigger then a large sized junco.

It was on it's own and had little interest in sitting on anyone branch or even in the same tree for more then 10 secs.

It had that unique crested head shape of a fly catcher. (there was no crest)

Is it possible that a member or allie of that family would be in the north end of Milton already ?

i want to say olive sided flycatcher but that might be just a shade big.

Eastern Phoebe's return to Toronto in late March. The next flycatcher to return will be Least Flycatcher in late April and the rest will return in May.

Hey Faltorvo!!

We spent the day  yesterday  up in Tiny Township (Georgian bay North of Wasaga). We stopped at a nearby beach and spotted this guy.

an Eastern Phoebe!!  Then opened our place up for the comming summer.. Yup them flycatchers are well North of Milton already.


Me Feeders are still quite busy..   4 junco's today a bit of a surprise.. Crows setting up a nest across the street.. should be a noisy summer..

Aha, that is what i saw, great work and thanks.

Amazing how a real photo is easier to tag with then my book.

Napper you need to get your butt to the scotchblock with the binos.

There are some interesting ducks there atm.

Juncos,am tree sp, pine siskens are still working my feeder hard.
