Title: Hawks along the 407
Post by: skyviewer on March 30, 2009, 05:29:56 PM
I'll begin by saying hello to everyone.  I am new to the forum and this is my first post.  I have recently stumbled into birding.  I love photography especially of the outdoors and wildlife.  What draws me to birds.  Well probably because the little suckers can be sooo elusive for a new guy like myself.

Coming back from Airport road on Saturday i decided to count how many Hawks i'd see on the way home.  From Airport road until the end of the 407 at Brock road i counted 14 hawks.  They were mostly Redtails but a few of them were definitely different.  One may have been a Cooper's hawk.  Not the safest thing to do i should be keping my damn eyes on the road but i was careful and it gave me something to do for the drive.
