Title: Early Great Egret at Mimico Creek

I was somewhat startled to see a Great Egret in the Mimico Creek, south of Lake Shore Blvd, this afternoon  Later in the afternoon I saw it flying towards the east end of HB Park East. This is the first time I have seen a Great Egret in April, in Ontario. My first was in mid May at Point Pelee in 1970.
