Title: Anyone else doing video?

Not quite photo, but video.

Anyone else doing video? I've been dabbling in video on and off for a few years and finally picked up a Canon HF100 so I could do some birding/wildlife videos. I've got a cheapy shotgun mike and a 1.5x TC for a bit more reach.

What have you found works or doesn't while birding? Any videos you can share?

Hi Kin

We picked a video camera last week Nothing special. Trying things out this weekend up north.  

I'd like to use it a bit more But I have to wrestle it away from my kids.

I got it to try to record sounds aswell!

I almost got a Flicker today plus I almost got what I think was a Merlin. Not having much luck yet.

p.s.  it is so small it is is hard to keep steady, specially when using the zoom.

i have some video of the great blue heron. still have to convert and post it.
