Post by: digijay on April 10, 2009, 05:56:12 PM
Hey Everyone,

I'm not sure how many people are on facebook, but I've started a group where I keep a list and some photos of all the wildlife that I (and other group members) find in the Mississauga area.

Here's the link if you use Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=60290396838 (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=60290396838)

Hi Jay.

Feel free to add Snapping Turtles to your list.  Have seen them at both Erindale Park and Rattray Marsh.

Unfortunately, the resident Snapper at Rattray Marsh enjoys having Mute Swan cygnets for lunch!  I realize that he needs to eat too but it's still sad to see.   :(

Can also add Smooth Green Snake and Eastern Milk Snake to the list.  I've seen both of these snakes at Erindale Park.
