Unfortunately no photo yet but I will try if I see it again.
Please help me to identify this bird. It certainly resembles the pictures I have seen of a Carolina wren except not distinct yellow underneath. THis is what I observed. Long slim curved bill, rusty back and wings, gray or vaguely bordering on olive underneath, no spotting underneath, short wren like tail, size notably larger then a house wren, brown strip through eye, whitish stripe above eye, on the ground rustling through leaves and looking in holes of a peice of cedar rail lying on ground, later saw him sitting on a branch singing SOOO loud, just two very distinct notes repeatedly but extremely loud.
Any ideas on my guess of a carolina wren or any other ideas?

Sounds like a Carolina Wren to me.
