Title: Friday at Lake Aquitaine
Post by: Bird Brain on April 17, 2009, 12:42:45 PM
Hi everybody.

Awesome weather today!   :D

Just got in from a walk around Lake Aquitaine and saw the following:

Pied-billed Grebe (first sighted yesterday)
Bufflehead x 2 (1m,1f)
Golden-crowned Kinglet x 6 (2m,4f)
Goldfinch x 2 (1m,1f).  Beautiful bright yellow male!

Otherwise, lots of the "usual":  Canada Geese, Cardinals, Grackles, Mallards, Mourning Doves, Red-winged Blackbirds, Robins, Starlings, etc.

Jo-Anne  :)

Lake Aquitaine is located in the SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave. behind the community centre, here in the Meadowvale area of Mississauga.
