Spotted a what looked like a "young" - Long Eared Owl yesterday on the Leslie St. Spit. It was roosting high in a white birch - just off the bike path on the right hand side just after crossing the bridge. We were actually looking for the GHO - the Long Eared Owl is an amazingly beautiful bird.
