10:45 am - Red tailed hawk swooped past my 3rd floor window and perched in a tall conifer among the treeline behind the houses on Lee Ave about 75m south of Kingston Road in the Beach(es).
Carrying a mammal of some sort I estimate to be about 1 foot long (rabbit?!).
Sat up there pecking at prey for about 10-15 minutes subject to bit of minor harrassment by local grackles.
I went to get my raincoat but he was then gone.
