Title: caught in the act!
Post by: Andrew on April 27, 2009, 02:10:59 PM
Pair of red tailed hawks seen mating atop the very tip of a conifer Friday afternoon behind Lee Ave in Beach.
Same tree in which I reported one eating its kill a week or so ago.

Today the maples are abuzz with activity in the glorious sunshine - B&W warblers, ruby-crowned kinglets, downy woodpeckers.
Also saw (and heard - very vocal) my first flickers of the year Sunday in Kew gardens.
