Title: Palm warblers
Post by: kitchenwindow on April 28, 2009, 03:02:41 PM
We just saw a pair of palm warblers on the patio about 2.30 pm. It's just stopped raining here (west end of Oakville) and up to about 13 degrees. Exciting time in the garden with all the migrants passing through, I can't drag myself away from the kitchen window!

Although I make field trips, I too, greatly enjoy backyard bird watching . Its a joy to see returning birds and the occasional new sighting. Looking forward to my first backyard sightings of baltimore orioles, cedar waxwings, RT hummingbirds and especially the skunk who raises her young under my yard shed and gives free lawn aeration . I sort of miss the juncos .

Jim
