Title: orchard oriole at the brickworks
Post by: skip on April 30, 2009, 04:09:33 PM
Birded the Brickworks area for a couple of hours this a.m. (thanks to yogistewart for his suggestions). Pleasant numbers of the usual warblers (Palm, Yellow-rumped, Yellow, etc.), a fine-looking Blue-headed Vireo, Field Sparrow, Spotted Sandpiper looking a little out of place, other usual residents and visitors. And an Orchard Oriole, just north of the parking lot, high in the canopy on the west side of the valley. Any other sightings of the Orchard Oriole in the GTA this spring?
