Title: Evening Backyard Birding
Post by: Cody on May 01, 2009, 07:24:26 PM
This evening I went in to my backyard to photograph some Turkey Vultures and to see what birds were in the area and here's what I saw:

Northern Cardinals

Turkey Vultures

Sparrows (Eating at the feeders)

European Starlings (Building a nest in my neighbors BBQ!)

Mourning Doves

Robins

Grackles

Notes: Refer to post under Behaviour: There are European Starlings building a nest in my neighbors BBQ! Please read post in Behavior section for more info.

I saw a Robin with what appeared to be Grass or a large insect in it's mouth.

I photographed approx. 30 Turkey Vultures looking for dinner in the Niagara Escarpment.

Tomorrow I will be birding around the Beamer Conservation Area or at 50 Point in Stoney Creek.
