Are there any ways of fixing pictures that are blurry?

_How_ blurry?

Unsharp mask will bump up the contrast on the edges to give a better look of sharpness, but it's limited.

What have you tried so far?

I've just tried the Contrast settings on Photoscape. I started using Photoshop.com last night and it has been working great.

You need to start with a picture where the subject is in focus. Your image of the sparrow on the feeder (lark sparrow question) is out of focus. The camera is focused on the fence to the right of the feeder. The detail on the fence is excellent, but that is not your subject.

If simple sharpening isn't enough, you can try detail recovery software such as Focus Magic: http://www.focusmagic.com/.

Thanks Andy. I will test this on some of my photos.

I tried the focus magic, it was great and I loved it.(thank you Andy for recommending it) I did find the contrast/lighten in photoshop helped and sharpen edges helps too. (depends on how blurry the picture is) Some are just not worth saving.

Kin Lau was right in that it's limited.  You can't make a sharp photo out of a blurry one.

I say use it instead as incentive to focus the next one!
