today in mount pleasant . 2 scarlet tanagers
2 red eyed vireo
1 great crested flycatcher
3 black throated blue warblers
4 black throated green warblers
2 redstarts
1 common yellowthroat
6 nashville warblers
1 ovenbird
1 veery
6 myrtle warblers, 1 warbling vireo
... was hoping that prairie warbler would take the subway up from rosedale, but he didn't
:wink: . no Tennessees yet p.s blue winged warbler in there saturday during that storm

yes it was good in places, I had 10 warbler spp. in one tree (a large elm near the mausoleum) and 3 more within 200m of that, best was a single Cape May warbler
anybody know the status of red-tailed hawk nesting in the cem this year?
I saw some activity near last year's nest (west of Massey monument) several weeks ago, but none lately.
Also I did not mention it here earlier but a dead adult was found in the ravine just south of the cem last month.
Perhaps there will not be a nesting there this year.
