Title: High Park May 17 & 18th too...
Post by: Mathew Rossi on May 17, 2009, 10:21:37 PM
A few taken today. I found warblers hanging out in brush and very shaded areas, no rarities and challenging shooting, I didn't have my flash with me and don't normally use one for birding... Didn't spot the wood ducks which is what I went for :) I found some productive areas near the greenhouse.

These are beautiful photos - can you identify these birds for us?  That would be super. Thanks.

I could be wrong but I believe it's a Black-throated blue warbler, Indigo Bunting and an American Redstart.

Hi all. Figured I'd append this post, I went back today with my DIY better beamer & flash, had decent luck. There's a lot to be found right near the leash free entrance near Colborne Lodge. More in the blog  http://photo.asic.ca/blog (http://photo.asic.ca/blog) and some ID reqs in the ID forum... Was there from ~830 to noon today.
