Headed down for a couple of hours today to enjoy the weather and saw the following. Some pictures posted in the forums.
Birds
Common Terns (check out the nesting platform - inspiring to say the least!)
Caspian Terns (1 pair)
Black Crowned Night Herons x 2
Barn Swallows
Cliff Swallows
Red Winged Black Birds
Cardinals (male and female)
Chipping Sparrow
Field Sparrow
Savannah Sparrow
Of note - no sandpipers or plovers seen, although footprints present in the sand would indicate activity on the beach since the big rain we had a couple of days ago.
